"More" Peddling!

This is how we are fitting our accelerator pedal, We have cut up a bit of box section steel and a bit of angled steel and welded them together. This holds the Accelerator pedal out level with the brake pedal, and we can position it pretty well over to the RH side for us bigfooted persons. The hinge bolt has to be grinded down to fit as far right as possible.

2 Bolts through the servo panel and Bobs your uncle

This is the extension bracket we made so that the Accelerator pedal sits level with the brake, Joey welded this bracket up and we were both pretty happy with the results. I must say I have just borrowed a bottle of argon from my old friend Charlie (Cheers mate) and it is so much better to weld with than "Beergas" which is what I have been using for years. I have enquired about how much it is to hire a bottle and it is only £30 hire and £30 to fill so that is a lot cheaper than getting the little bottles.

Extention bracket by Joey, thanks to Charlie

Here is a view of the pedals, The Accelerator has been cut and welded in 3 places to get the pedal to the same angle as the other pedals, and to give the cable a straight pull out of the servo panel through Joeys new bracket.

Check out all that foot room!

How many 12 years old can weld?!
