The Tunnel Top.

Rather than use Stainless to cover the tunnel top we decided it only needs a bit of Ally to cover where the gearlever sits. We made up this shape and Joey attached the Gearlever shroud to the plate with countersunk pop rivets. Then we attached the Plate to the chassis tubes using countersunk screws.

On top of all this we are using some Carbon Fibre effect plastic sheet, We applied some heat and bent it so it fits up behind the chassis tubes. We will fit a bit of sheet Ally behind the bent up bit to give it extra strength so we can fit our Starter button after the SVA.
When we have carpetted up the center section and finished trimming the plastic we are going to use RTV adhesive to stick it all in place.

This is the Gearlever center trimmed. I think Joey has done an excellent job with this. Now we can trim up the sides.

This is how the tunnel top fits under Joeys Handbrake Cover.

Again we must shoot forward again and here is the boy sitting in his car with a nice tunnel top trimmed up.

(Looks like he has seen he light)
