The Dodgy Right Hand Rear Arch!

In this picture you can see the wheel sticks out from under the wheel arch, this is a 2B problem apparently, We were not only worried about the SVA but the fact that it looked odd.If you look at the picture you can see how the front edge of the arch is level with the wheel but the rear is in about 3/4 of an inch, a real SVA fail point.

Here is another pic from a bit of a different angle, it looks even worse from here eh?

And here it is after we have removed rear fixing bolt and the adhesive (We left the stoneguard connected) we then moved the GRP out so it covered the wheel.
It left about 1/2 overlap so we decided to rivet as well as glue the arch to the GRP for extra strength. So if you look very closely you will see that there is a bit more GRP showing on the right hand side than the left, but if you are looking that close you are looking too close.Oh and we rivitted the other side to match as well.

"Footnote". During the first SVA the tester got out his spirit level and Rule and measured the Rim and the Wheelarch, He found that the Wheel rim was sticking out by 4mm at the bottom. So he said a bit of Rubber trim would suffice so here we are we will take it off one day.
I'm glad we did not leave the Arch like it was or it would have been a much bigger margin of failure!
