Finishing off the Underneath with underseal!

Now we have finally got our £140 Hoist back from a person who abused our generosity and kept it so long (Never Again)
we could get on with finishing off the underside of the car.
We drove the car up onto the front ramps then used "Our" hoist to lift the rear wheels onto the other ramps.

Now we could get underneath the car Joey made a little plate to cover the little hole. The one that's there for you to get at the propshaft front grease nipple.

The plate was screwed in place using 4 self tappers, so that when we decide to grease the propshaft we can get at it no problem.

Then we proceeded to underseal the whole underside of the car. We know that the car is Stainless Steel but as we have used ordinary steel box section and some steel pop rivets we have used copious amounts of "Jointing compound" between the joints and to cover the whole lot with underseal would give it all that much more protection against the elements.
We did contact the SVA center at Beverley to make sure this was OK to do and were assured that it was.

We even undersealed under the wheel arches covering the paxoline sheeting so instead of seeing the suspension behind the rear wheels you just see black, much better.
