Wales05 "Day 2"

Day 2 dawned lovely and sunny so much for all the talk of rain over the weekend! Here is the bit we did not like, driving out from the Hostel, everyone kept to the left side of the lane after Barry slid into the ditch the day before luckily there was no damage just a red face, and how awful nobody got a picture of it

Here we are at Landudno, lovely weather, lovely views a great bunch of people and if you look carefull Big Jim has even got his wallet out What a day!

Its a bit scarey driving under the overhanging rocks in our rather noisy convoy, Fabulous views though!

Up top we lined ourselves up, what an impressive sight!

As usual there was a lot of interest in the cars and lots of pictures taken.

On the way down Andy heard some funny noises on thr front Right side of his car so he stopped for a quick check. All seemed OK so off we went again.

We are on our way home now we stopped at a Cafe by the sea, Joey and I had some chips too, We were glad we did because there seemed to be no chippys open in Wales that afternoon and all the others went hungry

Joey had a few goes at Skimmers but decided he was crap at it and gave up

Our final planned group stop was at Demon Tweeks in Wrexham, Joey spent some more money on goggles for the longer journeys.
It was like getting ready for the end of a holiday now, but we all had to go home (Boo Hoo)!

Robbo did have a ticking over problem "Shit in the Carbs" was the diagnosis and it was soon sorted and we were on our way.

After we had said our farewells over the CB and made our own way home Joey and I had a quick stop in the Peak District to take this picture. Take a look at our back end !

And here we are at home I had just congratulated Joey on another successful run and took this picture.
Do you notice something about our rear end?
Do you notice whats not there anymore, something like "The Spare Wheel". The bloody thing had fallen off Arghhh!
Joey and I took a drive back 30 odd miles looking to see if we could see it but we had no luck, it will be in some farmers field by now, or will be on ebay in the near future!!
Oh well it does not detract for what has been another great weekend with the NW Hoodies. Thanks Folks
