Stoneleigh 06

"We made it !"

Originally we planned to do the 2 nights camping at Stoneleigh but as we only finished the car at 8pm the night before we decided to travel down on early Sunday Morning. Apparently we didn't miss much just a lot of "Boozing" and a "Bloody Cold night"
The day was a bit Grey but there was still an excellent turnout of Hoods, Over 100 cars which is pretty good. We met a lot of new friends including Jamie and Sandra from Scotland in their very nicely done car.
As usual we had a lot of interest in Joeys and its a nice feeling to see lots of people taking pictures of the car and answering all the questions.
Great fun!
Oh yes I forgot to mention that we forgot our "Sleeping Bags" and had to buy some new ones

After the show back at the campsite we caught "Sir" Chris helping to try and get this rough running Cobra to work properly, Just look at the big open Carburettor a matter of inches from his lit Cigarette straight after I took this piccy Chris took the fag out of his mouth He knew I had the camera out and was probably hoping that I did not get this shot

Later on it looked like either Chris had been servicing another car or Tim had arrived in Bobson

Now this puts a completely new meaning to "I'm in love with my car"

That evening The RHOCAR Marquee was full to the brim, is that Lee asking "Room for a Little one?"

Another great night of socialising with the best club around !

The next morning it was quite bright so we were hoping for a good day.
The forcast had been pretty bad for the Monday, It had really pissed it down all night so perhaps it had run out of rain.

The clouds on the day did look a bit iffy but in the end there was only a few spits of rain throughout the day. There was still a pretty good turnout of Hoods and another good day was had by all.
After lunch We travelled home with Ian and Carol, tired but happy.
